My Background

Living in Canada, Hong Kong and Australia has widened my perspectives towards multi-culturalism and the world. Apart from international background, rich cultural understanding and being a wife and mother of two adult children, I have considerable dynamic experience and sensitivity dealing with cross-cultural issues arising within relationships, e.g. mixed marriages, heterosexual and homosexual relationships.
Practicing counselling in an Integrative Family Centre and a school for autistic pupils, teaching in University, and facilitating seminars and workshops on stress management, brought me a wealth of clinical experiences working with individuals, couples & families struggling with wide ranging issues.

Languages spoken --- English, Cantonese, & Mandarin
My Philosophy

Human social behaviour; interwoven relationships within society and families, have always fascinated me.
Having experienced my own personal challenges and difficulties, I love helping others - it makes my life full of meaning.
I respect and value individual choice and uphold the importance of psychological well-being and the needs of children.
I believe in nature as a strong resource. Despite all environmental challenges, it gives us grounding, strength and possibility for growth. We humans need nurture and support – let me guide you to understand where your issues come from and challenge yourself with goals & changes.
“You’ll never walk alone.”
